Minibus Services Across Switzerland

Davos and Klosters by Minibus, for Groups Who Ski, Meet or Cheer

Davos is a long mountain town with a famous ice-hockey club and the congress centre that hosts the World Economic Forum. A minibus suits ski clubs, hockey fans and small meeting groups well, as long as you know the town's parking rule.

Parking here is decided by weight

In Davos every vehicle over 3.5 t, a larger minibus as well as a coach, may park only at Parkplatz Panorama by the ice stadium or at Parkplatz Metz, and only with a coach parking card. Panorama is open all year, a quarter-hour walk from the station at Davos Platz; Metz only from June to November. In the winter months, November to April, vehicles may not stand overnight between 03:00 and 07:00 unless the car park charges around the clock.

Weight also decides the road charge: up to 3.5 t a vehicle needs the motorway vignette, above that the flat-rate heavy vehicle fee.

Hockey nights and big weeks

Going to an HC Davos game? HC Davos asks every coach and minibus to sign up through the form on its website, at the latest 48 hours before the puck drops. The club points match buses to Metz, yet the commune opens Metz to coaches only from June to November, so for a winter game your operator settles the parking.

The Spengler Cup fills the Eisstadion Davos from 26 to 31 December 2026. In January 2027 the World Economic Forum meets here (18 to 22 January, as listed by Davos tourism), and public parking is then very limited.

Mountains, museums and the viaducts

The Parsenn ski and hiking area is reached by the Parsennbahn in Davos or the Gotschnabahn from Klosters, about 25 minutes by road. The Kirchner Museum on the Promenade suits an afternoon off the slopes.

Railway fans love the Landwasser Viaduct near Filisur, about 45 minutes away. A seasonal shuttle train runs to the viewing platform; no coach stop is published at the viewpoint, so the driver meets you in Filisur. The Wiesner Viadukt is closer, about 25 minutes.

From Zurich, and on to the Engadin

From Zurich Airport the road runs up through Landquart and the Prättigau to Klosters, then over the Wolfgang pass, which stays passable all winter. Reckon on about 2.75 hours for the 160 km, and after heavy snowfall the stretch above Klosters can call for chains.

For the Engadin, the Flüela pass usually closes from January to May. In winter take the Julier, about 2.25 hours to St. Moritz, or the Vereina car train from Klosters, every 30 minutes.

Questions travellers ask

Can our minibus park at the Congress Centre?

The centre has its own car park of 250 spaces without reservations, but vehicles over 3.5 t must use Panorama or Metz. A lighter minibus is not bound by that rule.

Is Heididorf possible from Davos?

Yes. Maienfeld is about 1.25 hours away, and Vaduz in Liechtenstein about 1.5 hours, so the two pair well.

Which pickup points work best?

Davos Platz, Davos Dorf, Wolfgang and Klosters are all easy. The list below shows them; give the driver the hotel name.
