The People Behind the Booking, and Those Behind the Wheel
We plan and book group travel for families, wedding parties, clubs and small tour groups in Switzerland. Vehicles and drivers come from partner operators licensed to carry passengers. Our part is getting the plan right, and keeping it right until the last drop-off.
Our part and theirs
With us, you talk the day through: where it starts, who is coming and what matters most. We find an operator with a suitable vehicle on your date, have the trip priced and confirm it with you.
The operator takes care of everything on the road: the minibus or coach, the driver it employs, the route on the day, safety and the driver's working hours. If something changes, tell us and we pass it on, so the operator always works from the latest plan.
What a partner operator holds
A Swiss company carrying more than eight passengers for payment needs an admission as a road transport undertaking from the Federal Office of Transport (BAV). Minibus drivers hold category D1, which covers up to 16 passengers, and coach drivers category D, in both cases with the certificate of professional competence (CZV). A chauffeur driving a car professionally needs a separate permit for passenger transport.
A coach company based in the EU may bring a group into Switzerland, but it may not carry passengers between two Swiss places. Trips inside the country therefore go to operators based here.
What we leave to others
We do not rent out vehicles to drive yourself, and we do not sell seats on shared tours. Train, boat and cable-car tickets are not part of a booking either: the railways and lake shipping companies sell those, often with their own group terms.
Where we arrange trips
Twenty towns and resorts, from Basel and Schaffhausen in the north to Lugano and Locarno in Ticino, and from Geneva across to St. Moritz. Add four airports, the Rhine cruise stages in Basel and the boat piers in Lucerne and Geneva. Annecy, Chamonix, Como and Liechtenstein appear only as day trips from a Swiss base.
Where the facts on these pages come from
From public sources: the federal law collection, the federal roads and transport offices, cantons and cities, the airports, the railways and lake shipping companies, tourist offices and event organisers. Drive times are light-traffic estimates. Rules and timetables change, so whatever matters for your day is checked again when the trip is quoted.
Questions travellers ask
Are you a travel agency?
Not in the usual sense: there are no packages or hotel deals here. We book a vehicle with a driver, and the itinerary stays yours.
Who drives?
A driver employed by the partner operator, holding the licence the vehicle requires. The operator also plans the breaks and rest.
Do you cover the whole of Switzerland?
We cover the twenty towns and resorts on the destinations page, the outings that start there, and the airports and piers that serve them. A trip beginning nearby is worth asking about.
